ive a pc, running routerOS 4.3.
was using it for dhcp, webproxy,and a few firewall rules.
the wireless access point attached to it has broken,
so i wonder if i can do same functionality (or similar) with a usb wireless dongle ?

You could try looking at the supported hardware list found here; http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Supported_Hardware#x86_Systems
You could also look at putting in a pci card, that may be easier but I’m guessing the reason you’re asking the question is that you have a USB dongle already!

yeah but my actual question was, if i can use it as an access point ?
ie can my 2 laptops connect to it and get ip from dhcp server that runs in mikrotik ?
the compatible hw is the next problem for me.
