Wireless Networking in a factory

Hi, I want to make a wireless networking in a factory and in manufacturing building. It has 100 meter length and 60 meter width and there are 20 computers now. which product you suggest me to use? If they want to see their IP cameras in some computers, which product you suggest? ( they have twenty 2MP IP cameras).

you have to do a site survey, and proper design, all depends of environment and requirements of performance.

please do not put wifi ip cameras put ip cameras wired, because ip cameras requires a lot of bandwidth.

beware of metallic obstacles and metallic surfaces that cause signal reflections.

As chechito pointed wiring is always the best solution.

If that’s not possible I’d combine the best of both worlds: e.g. wire cameras and 2.4GHz access points strategicaly to switches, connect each switch to a SXT (5GHz) and wirelessly link those SXTs to a SXT sector wired to the main LAN, or to another regular SXT PTP wired to the LAN.

I don’t want to use wifi ip cameras, i will use the wired ones but they want to see the cameras in some computers as a client. in other computers they want to do typical works for example sharing files and printers and using accounting software. we can use cable for two or three computers that want to see cameras and use wireless networking for others, i think this is better, what do you think? what’s your suggestion and which product is better? what about base box2 with two 11db omni antenna?

i hope you do not go for the philosophy of one powerfull (23-30dbm) omni directional accesspoint to cover all the area.

its much better to use some quantity of medium power (10-17dbm) accesspoint strategically located (for that you need the site survey)

As chechito said, don’t use just one access point. Several 951Ui-2HnD would be a good option.

what do you think about using two metal2 with 15db antenna in that area? it’s ok?
