Wireless Point To Point Recomandation

Hi,

Id like to have some tips of experienced users of point to point wireless system.
First off

I have a distance of 1.28KM between to link.

I need to have a link faster than 400mbps

One point is my home and the other is my work place.

There is trees in sight also

What wireless system should i get ?

There is so many option and they don’t really tell what they are good at beter than an other, or if they do, I don’t know really what i should look at with specs

Any tips/recommendation will be greatly appreciated

You need to clear the trees if you want 400 megs. Build a small tower and then anything will work.

For such a short distance, depending on the weather where you are, you may even look into free space optics. Lasers don’t have the fresnel zone clearance issues, interference issues, etc. that RF has. If your area isn’t subject to fog, high humidity, heavy rains, etc, then you may be able to get a reliable gigabit link, but rain fade is pretty killer on these. Slower speeds can make the link more stable, though.

I would not be looking at MT for 400 megs. You should look at Ubiquiti Airfiber.
