Wireless Problems with RB4011 and TP-Link CAP1750

Hey Guys,
i just flipped my FritzBox 7590 for a RB4011 and a TP-Link CAP1750. I’m new to MikroTik-Routers so maybe you can give me a hint, cause i got stuck on some wireless issues.

My main problem right now is, that my wireless devices do not discover each other and are not pingable among themselves. If i do a LAN-Scan on my Wireless devices they nearly find only LAN connected devices and no Wireless connected devices. I already searched a bit via google but there was no solution for me. Right now i’m not able to print (where i discovered this problem) because my printer is connected via wireless.

Lets take an example for completion:

My HP-Printer OfficeJet 8720 (192.168.188.38) is not pingable from my macbook which is connected to my TP-Link CAP 1750 (192.168.188.3). From my Windows-Notebook, the printer also is not pingable. If i take my Windows-Desktop via LAN, everything is pingable and reachable.

Maybe someone can tell me what i have to look for.

Thanks in advance!

Check the default forwarding property of your wireless interface, the forwarding property of your access list entry or the client-to-client forwarding property of your capsman (datapath) profile.

Check the client isolation setting on your TP-Link device

Disable this checkbox:

AP Isolation: Select this checkbox to enable the AP Isolation feature that allows
you to confine and restrict all wireless devices on your network from
interacting with each other, but still able to access the Internet.

/export hide-sensitive file=anynameyouwish

thanks, i totally forgot to check this. SSID Isolation was activated, i disabled it and everything works fine, thanks a lot!

by the way, the mikrotik router fixed my internet connection. You can clearly see the difference between the fritzbox 7590 and the mikrotik i installed yesterday, great!
