Hi, well my question is, can I use RB750G router to limit speed of users on wireless based by MAC/IP?

The thing is, I plan to use UBNT Nanobridge & Nanostation hardware, and the setup would look like this:

AirOS does let me set the traffic shaping, even at user end of antenna, but the thing is, if I limit it at first or second AP, all users would be penalized because of it :s

What I need is just capping each user max upload/download speed.

But a picture is worth thousand words, so here is the setup idea.

Yes. The wiki has many QoS examples, most are based on doing QoS on packets marked with a certain tag. RouterOS supports adding such tags to packets based on IP and MAC address.

Great, sounds like i got what I need, on a side node, anything else as newbie should I pay attention to?

I’ve presented to my training course a similar problem about qos on wireless links..
