Wireless repeater and WDS

Hi there,

is it possible to set up a wireless repeater without using WDS on two wireless interfaces?

Yes: use WDS on one wireless interface. You’ll see a throughput reduction of more than 50% over the two-radio solution, but it will work.

Or did you mean, a repeater using two wireless interfaces, without using WDS? In that case the answer is also yes; simply bridge the two wlans on the repeater device. That way you can use different channels (even different bands) to minimize interference.
