A quick (and perhaps not so clever) question - when I set up a WAP ac as a repeater, can I still get at the management interface? If so, how?

You have to assign an IP address for your WAP ac.

WinBox can connect to the MAC address on layer 2. Not as reliable as a TCP connection but can help you out.
