wireless scan without wireless connetion interruption

Hi,
I’m connected to a CPE device using a wireless connection. If I do start a wireless scan on this CPE device, der wireless connection to the AP is interrupted. On DD-WRT it’s possible to do this. I need this feature to see, if near the CPE another system using the same wireless channel like the CPE is connected to the AP or to scan an then connect the CP to another AP.

Unfortunately you have the only option to run the scan by telnet with time limit and read the results after the client reconnects to the Ap back
