Wireless (station) and Wireless (virtual AP) on same router

Hi,

Hello,

I have the need to connect a hAP routerboard to a wireless network already installed as “slave” and connect to your ethernet several PCs. So far everything works perfectly but now I need to connect several laptops via wireless to the same network.
I created a wireless AP virtual slave interface and added to it the ethernet bridge, but it is not visible the SSID of the network and can not connect laptops.
Is it possible to do that? Should we do otherwise ?.

you can’t do that with your method. you must upgrade to RouterOS v6.35rc (release candidate) and install the “wireless-rep” package. It will unlock the new repeater function described here:
