I need a way to find some noise that i have in certain areas. I know mikrotik is good at scanning. I need to be able to pickup MTs and all other wireless working on the 5.8 bands. I have a Integrated MT 5.8Ghz antenna with the RB112. What is the best way to scan with this to be able to pickup all the different types of noises out there? Is this a option or should i use something else?
imho you have to use directional antena to see direction where nose exist and use /in wi scan wlan1 and turn around your antenna, also, you have to monitor noise floor to see non-80211 frames.

noise floor shows everything as non-80211. devices like microwave ovens etc.
What is the best tool and settings in the MT that i can use to scan for non-80211? Is the Freq usage the best one? What settings should i put it on for 5.8GHz non-80211 equipment?
