We are using many of these as wireless backhauls and with other branded hardware the transmit and receive ratio can be adjusted to favor more download. Is this not possible with mikrotik? I’m using RB711’s.
Lets just say you have 50mb total speed. You can run that 25/25, 20/30, 10/40, etc.
Set the access list with a speed limit on each side or just the slow side. You can also do this with queues. I use both, depending on what I’m doing.
I have had a couple of ptp links that weren’t performing as I wanted, backup links, etc, that I set the upload speed to 1Mb to make sure I’d get enough download speed if everyone started uploading pics all at the same time.
