Wireless wire as connection between modem and router

Hello!

I want to know, if i could plug in the wireless wire (MikroTik RBwAPG-60ad kit) into an optical fibre modem, to transmit the signal then to the second wireless wire endpoint, which would be connected to the router.
Or is such a setup not possible, because it needs to be connected to the router first?

I really dont want to put our router next to the modem, because the wall near the entrance (the first thing everyone sees) of our house is already pretty full. These wireless wires seem small and more elegant.
Also the router wouldnt be in the centre of the house anymore and away from our coax over ethernet setup.

I know I could use two routers, but 2,4 and 5 GHz are on the limit in our neighbourhood.

Thx in advance!

PS: If this product doesnt meet my demands, do you know any that does? I just want to transmit the signal of the optical fibre modem RJ45 port to the port of the router.

Wireless wire pair acts as transparent UTP connection. So it should work for you. But (a big one): it needs line of sight … which indoors is not always possible. Even if there are no permanent obstacles between both points, beware of people walking cross the link.

IMO it’s always better to try with wired connection. In order of technical excelence: Can you pull UTP cable hidden (behind furniture, under a carpet, etc.)? Is there a coaxial cable available (look at MoCa adapters). Can you use PowerLine adapters?

Alright, thanks for the reply. A line of sight is possible. If not I would have needed something with 6 GHz , right?

No, the modem will be right next to the entrance of our house if the company that installs the modem will want money to put it somewhere else. The box with the optical wire is already there. Behind the wall is our guest toilet. The relevant room with our technical things is 7m away in the middle of the house. We dont have a carpet, so it isnt that easy. I think the foundation of our house is right under the flat tiles. And my parents dont want to have a wire on the wall and ceiling.

Yes, we are using MoCa or the other standard in our technical room to connect the house. We had powerline, but it worked really badly. Even with different brands.
