Wireless Wire kit license upgrade question

Hey there - am after a bit of info on upgrading the wireless wire kit license. Product RBwAPG-60adkit - license level 3.
Currently using the units to bridge the gap between house (bridge unit) and garage (station-bridge). Working great as it is.
But the garage is metal so wireless/cellphone signal is pretty iffy unless sitting in a certain area. So need an AP at the garage side. I have an old spare cheap n nasty AP but looking for tidier options.

Looks like the kit can also act as an AP with a license upgrade to 4 but would need to confirm this before shelling out for the upgrade.
Questions -
With license level 4 - can the station-bridge be converted to an ap-bridge? Still give the wireless wire function but also enable the unit to be an AP for local devices?
and
Is there any change in the performance of the 60g wireless if one end is enabled to be an AP as well?

Thanks for any info…

after you’d theoretically get level 4 licence - the unit itself would be an AP for what exactly?

Being an AP for local devices in the beampath?

No…

Buy an access point that can drive the wireless wire.

Much apprec for answers - just thought that the configuration for ap-bridge and wifi being available that the end unit could be an AP as well as bridge.
Will run a cable and use an normal AP instead. Thanks.

RBwAPG-60adkit only has 60GHz radio … I highly doubt your wifi stations you want to use in the garage have 60GHz radios as well. So converting one of wireless wire devices to AP bridge wouldn’t change a tiniest bit.
Unless you’re thinking of adding a wireless wire link inside garage … that would require antenna beam width wide enough to cover both stations at once … and a clear line-of-sight between AP bridge and both stations …

I agree that cable from RBwAPG-60adkit device to a normal WiFi AP would be best solution.
