Hi,
I am about to try and install two pairs of Wireless Wires. A leased line comes into building A and I will mount one Wireless Wire (WW) on building A and its counter part on building B, into a switch. Out of the switch to another WW to send the internet to building C, building C can’t see build A due to trees.
I have tested the first pair of WW on my domestic router and they worked well no problem data was passing through, however I wasn’t able to get access to either unit?
I tried the winBox, bare in mind I have a Mac and this was using Parallels but it can’t connect, I tried entering the IP 192.169.88.2 or .3 for the second one into my browser and was unable to bring up the web interface? I downloaded the MikroTik app onto my iPhone and the app could see the devices but could connect.
Within my router I could see them but it uses 192.169.1.2 - 192.168.1.254 so not sure if that would stop me getting access? I did try changing the IP range on my router to 192.168.88.XX but still couldn’t get in?
Obviously I need to solve this issue as I need the one of the pairs to have different IPs.
I’m sure it’s me being stupid as I’m not a network expert.
I also tried disabling my Firewall still no joy.
Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated.
