there are many threads in this forum that would be helpful for you,
to list some: low signal level, high noise, bad cabling, bad antenna, broken wireless card etc.
what kind of hardware do you use ?
I am using routerboard 500 with cm9 cards.
check cables and connectors
make sure cable is not longer than 2-3 meters
check antenna polarization and align it properly
make sure there is clear line of sight (visibility)
change frequencies / check for interference
check pigtails, are they are attached to correct connectors
check if height of the endpoints is enough
also how did you test it?
I am able to get 20 mbps with OSPF routing full duplex wireless! now my issue is the processor is at 100% so i think that is my limitation at this point.
how fast are you routers, are they Routerboards? You can also make the support output file and send it to support@mikotik.com to check if that 100% is due to the limitation of the CPU or maybe there ia some other problem (maybe a bug).
I am using Routerboard 532 and i have never done a support output before. how do i do that and is it free to send it to mikrotik?
Here are the instructions:
http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/2.9/system/support.php
Thanks I will have to try that!
