wlan in bridge mac address problem

Hello All,
Recently I have faced with MT behavior, I can’t found explanation, can you please help me.
What I have done:

  1. P2P 802.11 wireless Link.

  2. On point “A” IP address is assigned direct to wlan interface, and it works ok.

  3. On another end (point “B”) eth1 and wlan1 interfaces are added to the bridge.
bridge has eth1 MAC. Here is my first question. How MT assign MAC on bridge?

  4. IP address is assigned on bridge. IP address is from the same net as IP on Point A.

  5. Ping from “A” to “B” is failed.

  6. If bridge has MAC address of wlan1, then ping is ok.

I am wondering if it is should work in this way, so If I want for example add several wlans interfaces to one bridge with one common IP?

Thank You
Best Regards

The Bridge will grab a MAC address that it likes, but you can change it in the “Admin. MAC Address:” field. I usually copy the last Ethernet MAC and increment it up.
