I have a standalone AP on the mast/tower connected to the Ethernet port MT box inside the office.
Can it be configured as Wlan or do I just do accesslist for the wireless clients.

Wireless what? AP, client, bridge?
The wireless accesslist will only work if you have a wireless card in the MT the clients are connecting to.
I have a PC based MT at the base of the tower that does routing only and then at the top of the tower I have five rb532s setup as APs with basic routing and accesslist.
as far as I understand, in this setup there is one MT box and one unnamed AP. the bamideji wants to do some wireless configuration in the MT box, but that’s not possible because there are no wireless cards in it. remove the unnamed AP box and replace it with MT. then you will have all-in-one.
Humm, I kinda thought I was saying the same thing. Maybe not.
