WOL/wake over internet for WiFi

Hi masters,
Trying to wake a PC that has a wifi card only! (cable is unplugged)

  1. I am able to wake the PC over internet and lan but on the wired connection
(i have a dst-nat firewall rule, protocol udp 17, port 7 that works)
  2. I am able to wake the pc on the wifi card too, but only for a short time after sleep
  • i did create a manual ARP entry but no luck.
  • the IP/MAC for the wifi card has a static DHCP entry with ‘always broadcast’ on.
  • what i notice is that I can wake the pc as long as there is an entry in “wireless tables-> registration” but this goes off after a while …

Any advice what am I doing wrong ?
It is like the wifi turns off and stops communicating with the router?

Thank you in advanced:)

PS:
I can provide access to the router, is is not something live or important for now, just testing.

It is definitely a router issue since I have tested with another small router and a hotspot phone and I can wake up the box even after 24h …

So…anyone kind enough to give me a hand ?

Router is Mikrotik RB2011UAS-2HnD, version 6.32.2
Now, I think it has something to do with “group key update” interval, because if I change from 5min to 1h (i understand it is maximum) it allows me to wake up the client for more than 5min (around 10 or +)

Any other settings I could work with ? (print-screen attached)

Thank you.
