Workarounds for GPS week rollover on unsupported cards

I’ve got an old Sierra MC7750 in a RBM33G for GPS tracking. This is working fine so far. I was hoping to start using the GPS time signal for NTP, but the Sierra card is out of support so they didn’t provide a fix for the GPS week rollover back in 2019. The offset in this case seems to be the standard 1024*7.

I was wondering if there was any way that routeros could automatically apply a week offset for the time? I know that I could script something, but that would introduce a variable time delay, and I was hoping to have a consistently accurate time source.

I’ve been searching the web for several days but haven’t found anything for routeros.

Does MC7750 provide and does ROS facilitate PPS? If not and only NMEA telegrams are available, then there’s already variability in timing information … as per specifications, NME telegrams are issued within actual second, those don’t provide higher precision. It’s necessary to use PPS signals, which mark actual start of the second (to which each NMEA time stamp belongs).
