Took me awhile to get this working. There’s a WLAN vlan and a DATA vlan, you manage through the data vlan.
The SFP ports on the core switch are both trunks uplinking to SFP2 on the two access switches (same config just update IP for second access switch).
Ether1-4 is data vlan 100, ether 5-8 are wlan vlan 200 for uplinks to my firewall, I’ll do a trunk later once I figure it out on my firewalla gold with LAG
SFP 1 on the access switch is vlan 200 for wlan to my 10G AP, 1g/2.5 ports 1-8 are PCs.
Hope this helps someone else, this was 3 days of frustration on my part…
Really should be a macro on the gui from Mikrotik or a base config somewhere you can upload that is working and work off of. LivingRoomSWConfig.rsc (2.07 KB) BasementSWConfig.rsc (2.07 KB) CoreSWConfig.rsc (2.07 KB)
Not really, config sucks/fail wont be used by anyone
Your uploads look almost like both switches dont see core router config?
Looking at access switch.......
there is no need for two bridges!
You have two identical pools ( and dont need them anyway)
You have a warning from the router
_/ip dhcp-client
DHCP client can not run on slave or passthrough interface!_
You’re right, updated the correct ones, those were old I had a TON on my desktop.
These are working perfectly, next step is to get bonding on the core switch port 1-2 vlan 100 and port 3-4 vlan 200 to my firewall for 5G throughput on each vlan to my router.
