Would like to set up my new HAP AC lite as a repeater.

Hi,

I have a HAP AC lite set up as a basic home AP and I’m very happy with it. Home AP dual worked very well.

Now, however- I have a part of my house that gets pretty weak signal. I bought a second HAP AC lite and I’d like to set it up as a wireless repeater.

Basically here is the setup I want to have.

  1. Existing Hap AC lite broadcasts internet on 2ghz and on 5ghz (with a different ssid?)
  2. New Hap AC lite connects on 5ghz to existing hap AC lite and re-broadcasts internet on 2ghz.

What would be the best way to set up the new HAP AC lite? Is there any kind of tutorial? Do any of the built in quicksets come close?

I don’t really have any 5ghz devices and I don’t live in a particularly wifi-dense neighborhood.
