X710 SR-IOV VF not recognized as a NIC in CHR

Hey all,
I set up a new CHR with an x710 VF as it’s NIC. However, the NIC is not recognized. They show up in System > Resources > PCI and are marked as Intel Corp Ethernet Virtual Function 700 Series (rev: 2), but don’t show as ethernet interfaces. Is there a step I missed for getting this to work? CHR 7.6 on proxmox 7.2.7.

Thanks!

I am certain that this used to work.

So, your best bet is to contact Mikrotik support through the web-portal or by emailing support@mikrotik.com

For those curious, I did open a support ticket (SUP-99556)

I’ll report back once I have an update.

I have the same and SR-IOV also doesnt work for me.

SR-IOV is working fine only on Mikrotik 7.1. It doesn’t work anymore on Mikrotik versions 7.2 - 7.6.

Please fix it.

Same issue here, and if I use iommu passthrough , the interfaces also does come up for some reason, also using Intel X710 cards

x722 VF same

I use X722 on ESXI 8 with VMXNET3 and get 10 Gbps with minimal CPU usage.
vswitch is out of the question or why you need SR-IOV?
