Setup is this: X86 ECS motherboard. 3GHZ processor. Dual RB44 Cards. 1
Onboard Nic. 1GB ram
Problem: System will be running along fine and then all the nics except
one (seems to be random) drops to 900k. Out of 9 nice 8 of them all drop to
the same exact speed. Sometimes it is 900k. Other times it is 300k. The key
is they all do the same speed. During this time speeds and pings are very
poor. Our monitoring software starts kicking out alerts due to slowness.
This has happened on 2 sets of hardware. All hardware was replaced.
Initially this was doing it when we started seeing 30 megs of traffic. With
the new hardware it did it at 21 megs tonite.
On a side note the router now takes around 3 minutes to reboot.
Initially it was quite quick (under 30 seconds).
I tried attaching our support.rif but it said it was not an allowed extension.
