Hello, I want to install the v7.20.4 in my old computer today, after I successfully installed the system, I can not connect the machine by winbox 4. I find the error “do_IRQ: 0.37 No irq handler for vector” on the monitor. And the machine reboot immediately. I can see the system's login interface, but when I print “admin” ,the device has restarted again. What a crazy loop!

My CPU is Intel i7-9700k and disk is optane M10 16G， Does this error message mean that my hardware and system are incompatible?

Hi,

Bare metal installations are always "high risk ones". ROS is very picky if it comes to hardware compatibility. The best method is to install virtualization server + CHR virtual appliance

Thanks for your reply! I wanna install 2000M broadband, the L4 is enough. But if I use the virtualization sever that`s means I need buy a higher CHR license. It is consume more money. This weekend I plan to replace the Realtek network card with an Intel network card , if it is does not go work. Your advice will be my only choice.:smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
