HI guys,
I have dhcp server and hotspot setup on 1st location all working well. I can connect to internet and get ip from dhcp and connect thru hotspot etc via location 1.
If I connect via location 2, all is the same, I get dhcp from location 1 and connect to internet thru hotspot on location 1.
Now at my location 2, I have the XR2 which gets data from location 1 via ap-bridge WDS/dynamic and the SR9 for my client CPE’s. I bridged the SR9 to the XR2 and ether. At the client side I just installed last night (sr9), I can connect to internet via hotspot installed at location one, but I noticed in there router that im getting ip address from the router connected to my ISP installed at location 1. Im getting a dhcp IP from router and clients router is showing that main ip addy is my actual ip of my ISP connection. WTF When I connect via XR2’s from either location 1 or 2 I get ip’s from the dhcp server installed on location 1 and I never see the actual ip of my ISP…
Any help, I assume I havent setup properly the association with my SR9 and XR2 at location 2. DO I have to setup dhcp server on sr9 at location 2?? ← This is my backup plan, as I DO NOT want CPE’s viewing my ISP information and addy when they connect via SR9..
