Where can I find a 18dbi omni vertical polarization antenna at 3.65GHz frequency?
Does it matter what dbi you use as long as its not over 1 watt eirp?
I don’t know about 3.65GHz, but there are different guidelines if the connection is PTP or PtmP. Check the FCC rules and regulations on this page. http://www.wlanantennas.com/faq.php
I found this. So it looks like we can use 18dbi.
How much power can I use on the new 3.65 GHz band?
Power at Antenna (dBm/Watts)
Max Antenna Gain (dBi)
EIRP (dBm)
EIRP (watts) dbm then dbi then max eirp and then max watts.
30 dBm (1 W) 14 44 25
29 15 44 25
28 16 44 25
27 dBm (500 mW) 17 44 25
26 18 44 25
25 19 44 25
24 dBm (250 mW) 20 44 25
23 21 44 25
22 22 44 25
21 23 44 25
20 24 44 25
Who even makes 3.65Ghz antennas?
3.65GHz is wimax right? Pacific Wireless makes some 3.3-3.6GHz antennas, so they might work at 3.65GHz.

Pacific wireless 3.5 antennas work great.
dallas, what kind of speeds are you seeing at 3.65 ghz? distance? rssi?
im guessing there is not much noise on that freq. yet.
Do you need a super channel license on MT 3.15 for that?
7 miles - up to 30 mbps
you should get the mikrotik license. Thats all I will say.
what signal levels are you getting those speeds at? mikrotik 3 or 2.9?
what are the link sites like/
thanks for your help
Around -80 both directions are 7 miles. There is no noise in 3.65 and rx sensitivity is really low so -80 is a good signal. I get a lot of bandwidth. Routeros 3.13
sorry to keep asking such specific q’s but im about to do the exact same link..with no detectable noise (ive just got a 411 and xr3 in, with the pac wireless grid), from a building 11 stores high, to one 15 stories high. 6.76 miles.
similar heights for you? any obstructions?
thanks
line of site only. 10ft on one site and 100 ft on the other. Read this:

I am looking at putting up a similar link. Where can i find a super channel license. I’ve looked everywhere I can think of looking and can’t find anything. ![]()
write to mikrotik, or your local distributor
