XR5 or Doodle labs DB-F50-PRO

Hi Guys

Which card is better for a 42km link?

XR5 has 28dBm and DB-F50 has 27dBm
DB-F50 has ESD protection while XR5 doesn’t appear to have it

But the XR5 costs about double that of the DB-F50-PRO, whats the reason?
