I’m facing an issue with my hardware, but I’m not sure if it a hardware failure or a software issue, the problem is that I have 2 XR9 cards and 2 RB433 and I installed the XR9 cards in each RB433, so that, I have 2 routers RB433 with XR9 installed, and the configuration is basic and as the following:
Router A (single card):
- AP using channel 6 (2437) 917 and broadcasting its name.
- Router OS tried (3.30, 4.13, 5.0rc3)
Router B(single card):
- Client searching for Router A.
- Router OS tried (3.30, 4.13, 5.0rc3)
Distance between Router A and Router B is less than 1 meter.
the issue is the client can not find Router A, and I have tried many many configuration scenarios but all have failed, with some settings the Router both can catch the other 2.4Ghz APs.
does that mean the cards are defective ? is there any way to test these cards against malfunction ?
any help is appreciated.
