XW firmware of ubnt doesnt associate with sxt lite 5

Hi guys
we need new software for rb sxt lite 5 to connect and work well in wds station with new ubnt xw firmware
cuz old ubnt XM firmware was working well with sxt lite 5 but new XW firmware doesnt
so plz help us cuz almost of 5.5 Ghz Access points in our region stores sell ubnt products and SXT 5.5 as stations
..
Access point is : Nanostaion M5 XW Firmware
Station is : SXT Lite 5

we need to make it work in wds station mode>

Hi yehia,

In this case, the problem is not RouterOS. Some UBNT new firmware only connects to AP with proprietary protocols. Update AP’s firmware can solve this. Analyzing your topology, could you change your AP to a MikroTik and use nv2. The results are better than use 802.11.

thnx 4 replay but we cant update UBNT XW firmware to XM cuz XW has different hardware chipset

and i wrote almost of stores in my region sell UBNT APs

You schould look on AP Side if Airmax is enabled or not. If yes you will never get an connection from ubnt to SXT.

Turn off Airmax on AP Side and dont use any MT protocolls on SXT in Wireless just 802.11.
