I’m setting up a new leg on our ISP network and I’d like to pose a question to the group:
Is there any reason I should not use private IP addresses for this segment? I’m looking at 4 routers that I will assign private IP addresses as I’m trying to conserve what’s left of the /24 public for customer assignment. Is there any disadvantage from the customer’s standpoint to having private hops? I know reasons for/against from my own ISP view but I’d like to hear what others say.
