Looking to have the PORTID added to the terminal window frame when a serial session is opened..
IE when "system serial-terminal XXXX " where XXX is the port is IE: USB1 or a renamed port IE: "Pod-1"
it would REALY be helpful if we could get the ID of the port that was opened into the frame header..
I have a implementation where we are using ROuterOS as a wireless serial concentrator to configure devices via a USB/Serial connection.
We load up a rack full of units to be configured and then advise a engineer (Usually me) of the device location and the configs to be done and then the devices can be configured from ANYWHARE !!
Way COOL !!!
The only issue is that it is hard to remember what serial session id is talking to what port.... so usually I can only work on one device at a time so that I done get the serial sessions confused...
