I have a new Mikrotik Router running RouterOS v6.40.4 which I am trying to set-up SNMP monitoring for. I have obtained the MIKROTIK-MIB.mib file, but I am confused as to what the 2 Trap entries within the MIB - mtxrTemperatureException and mtxrTrap.

I am pretty new to this and also quite confused. When these traps sent via SNMP to my management system, and how do I know when the notifications have cleared? i.e. with some other MIB files, I have dealt with, alarm traps usually go into alarm and a clear trap is sent when/if the alarm clears. When I look in the Mikrotik MIB, I don't see anything that indicates a clear trap.

If someone could explain how I can monitor this It would be greatly appreciated! Please excuse my obvious lack of knowledge, I'm still in the learning phase.
