Upgraded to gigabit cable service and speed a bit slow .. ideas?

Wed May 15, 2019 2:59 pm

Hi, My PC connects to a CRS125 directly connected to the hEX RB750Gr3 firmware on all is 6.45 beta 31. Jumbo packets are off on my PC. Speeds seem to cap a bit under 800 Gbs.

My cable modem is a MOTOROLA DOCSIS 3.1 Model MB8600, it has the ability to bond 2 Ethernet ports. Would bonding 2 ports help and if so how do I bond 2 Ethernet ports on my Mikrotik router to the cable modem?

Configuration follows: A MikroTik hEX RB750Gr3 5 port functioning as my router. It directly connects on the LAN side to 2 satellite Mikrotik CRS125-24G-1S-RM Cloud Router Gigabit Switch 24. Hung off one of the Mikrotik CRS125-24G-1S-RM Cloud Router Gigabit Switch 24 are two others in series. All 24 port CRS are in switch mode (not router).

On my router fastpath is enabled.
