Enable BGP on ROSv7

Tue Apr 28, 2020 12:24 am

Please enable BGP on ROSv7 as I need VXLAN to peer with 4IXP and EVIX. EOIP doesn't work behind 1:1 nat and gretap is not supported on ROS. Please enable BGP on ROSv7 as VXLAN is the only way to peer with them!

They will enable it when they are ready. This is a beta. Please be patient.

Don't buy something with a functionnality you need that is not present or "should come in future".

You'll get the feature when it is ready, wait

Why u need to peer at this points and way I googled but the networks participating are small and not worth to connect ...

Even the packet overhead might be no option to do ...
At the Swiss exchange I was not able to see the Member list ...

It is not about the "worth" of connecting to the IX, its about the half baked nature of router OS.
