Wireless broken in v7.1beta2

Sun Aug 23, 2020 3:41 am

Hi,

I attempted to test RouterOS v7 (v7.1beta2) and performed an upgrade on my x86 router from v6.47.2. The upgrade completed successfully but the Wireless interface was totally broken. The slave interface, although correctly configured, could not come up because the master's config was totally broken. It had lost all settings including band, channel-width, ssid, default-authentication, channel-width and wireless-protocol.

The interface was no running and when I attempted to enable it I received the error message "bad band or frequency, see 'wireless info' for supported channels"
When I attempted to correct any of the aforementioned settings, the same message was received and the CLI set command failed. When I viewed the allowed channels in wireless info, the list was empty.

The card is an Atheros AR9888.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause of this malfunction?

Regards,
Achelon
