Memory reduced after using NetInstall

Fri Jan 01, 2021 10:01 pm

After using NetInstall, my hap ac^2 report that it memory is 128M but its supposed to be 256M. This also happened on another ac^2 after using NetInstall. Anyone know how to reclaim the memory back?
Also note that there is no problem to upgrade some of my other ac^2 to 7.1 beta 3. But upgrade on those two NetInstall'd devices did 'brick' the devices and have to use NetInstall again to downgrade it to 6.48.

Are you 100% sure your hAP ac2 devices have actually 256MB RAM installed? Device is actually supposed to have only 128MB RAM (product page always stated that amount of memory), but some early batches had 256MB due to manufacturing "defect" ... Mine with 256MB RAM had factory default ROS version 6.42.3 installed, your is quite newer.

You're rite. Just double check with another guy and he did swapped the devices with a newer one. So the topic of this post become invalid. See if anyway to remove this topic.
However, failure of 7.1 Beta 3 upgrade on two 128MB ac^2 is still valid.

Thx for your prompt reply.
