It seems on the factory shipped firmware (6.45.9) and testing firmware (6.49beta54), LTE works fine as configured via quickset to "LTE". However, I am upgrading to development firmware (7.1beta6) but this seems to break LTE connection to the network. When I upgrade to 7.1beta6, LTE just says that “a newer version of modem firmware is available” but since I cannot connect to the network it can’t download any update. Downgrading back to 6.49beta54 allows the LTE to work instantly. The interface isn't running and I cant figure out how to make it run. I found this thread that shows another user having a similar problem with 7.1beta4.
Downgrading to 7.1beta5 allows the LTE to work and I can access the internet. But ROS is still complaining via red text that there is new modem firmware available. However, when I try to upgrade the firmware, it fails. I found this thread that shows another user having a similar problem. @jainge
