7.1rc1 lte signal strength doesn't match AT+CSQ

Wed Sep 01, 2021 2:31 am

Hi,

Using 7.1rc1 (7.1rc2 broke again AT commands) I am trying to understand the low signal strength values (-109db considered very poor) I am seeing with Sierra MC7455.

In webfig I see the following:

But running AT+CSQ I get 25,99:

According to the tables I see for AT+CSQ then 25 should be mapped -63dbm and should be actually an excellent signal stength! (see https://m2msupport.net/m2msupport/atcsq-signal-quality/)

I have another device in the same place using a different router/modem combo and same antenna and carrier and I am seeing RSSI values of -59dBm

PS also AT!GSTATUS? gives more info and shows better RSSI (not taken at exact same time as AT+CSQ):

From what I understand in LTE it is showing in Webfig the RSRP and not the RSSI which is better as RSRP have better meaning rather than RSSI.
In previous versions using DirectIP modems it showed all the parameters, I suggest to show that
