Chateau LTE12 LTE error wdm send failed: 19

Mon Sep 06, 2021 7:20 pm

Hello,
I have issue using Chateau LTE12. LTE interface regularly disappears for 20 seconds and LTE do not work for that 20 seconds. That is started before v7.1rc1 and on v7.1rc2 LTE disappears more frequently. In the log I get I lot of messages:

Sep/06/2021 18:34:13 lte1 link down
Sep/06/2021 18:34:13 lte1 mbim: error: wdm send failed: 19
Sep/06/2021 18:34:38 lte1: IPV4: 10.5.28.186, DNS: 2 (IP changes every time)
Sep/06/2021 18:34:38 lte1 link up

I tried to set factory settings, but without luck. Chateau LTE12 is recently bought new, still factory smell.
What I can try more?

Remember that you can reach support from your local distributor and directly from support@mikrotik.com or help.mikrotik.com support portal.
Probably you will need that way of support.

Back to that "error wdm send failed: 19".
I see that error in only one thread SXT w/ EP06-AF - No Such Data Channel but OP not give any new feedback.

General, do you check if a lte module have a newer version ?? Example from R11e-LTE6.
Lastest is R11e-LTE12 (EG12-EA) EG12EAPAR01A09M4G
> /interface/lte/firmware-upgrade lte1
  installed: R11e-LTE6_V028
     latest: R11e-LTE6_V028

Now we have a new ReleaseCandidate3, you can try it just by regular package upgrade. I think that problem should be related with LTE Module firmware more then RouterOS itself.

Please give us feedback but first, try upgrade lte firmware, take "Make Supout.rif, sent it to MikroTik Support Team. More detail how to do that you can found in my forum signature.

I updated LTE firmware to EG12EAPAR01A10M4G and RouterOS to 7.1rc3 and how it's work fine. I can't tell which update helped, but most important that no more LTE issue. Thank you.
