[bug][CRS226] SFP module does not normally Linkup

Thu May 01, 2014 3:36 pm

Hello, everyone.

Currently, he is to verify the CRS226, but if you use a 1Gb-SFP module in SFP + port, would be Linkup properly?
In my environment, symptoms SFP module is not recognized properly, repeat the Linkdown and LinkUp has occurred.
Further, looking at the Interface information, the value of the bias voltage and is not acquired successfully.

For example)
sfp-temperature: 0C
sfp-tx-power: 2147483647dBm

SFP module having tried so far are as follows.

FINISAR CORP.
· FTLF8519P2BNL-AJ
· FTLF8524P2BNV-FJ
· FTLF8519P2BNL

SumitomoElectric
· SCP6584-GL-CTH

AlliedTellesis
· FTLF8519P2BNL-AJ

AVAGO
· AFBR-57R6AEZ-HP

CISCO-FINISAR
· FTLF8519P2BCL-CS

Would not those who have the same symptoms in the direction of others?

Best regards.

Thank you for reaction.

I have tried everything from 6.12 ROS6.9, but is struggling to be no signs of improving at all.

This is what the datasheet tells: First port supports 1.25G/10G modules, second port only 10G modules.
I assume that's not the problem here?

I had the same problem; 1G would not link in sfp1.
But 10G did link so I used 10G in sfp2!

Thing of the correspondence during the seems to know about this problem I asked to support.
By the way, sfp port 2 in the state using the SFP+ module, Are you sure you want to Linkup at 1G?
Have you ever heard that seem to say that it does not normally Linkup After a review.

Did you solve problem with 1Gb SFP on CRS 226? I have it too, with different models of SFP
CRS saw the module's S/N, wave length, but no link.
firmware 6.12, and then upgrade to 6.27, whatever.
