Is it possible to create an Unsigned Certificate using MT?

Sat Oct 13, 2007 1:18 am

I was wondering if I have to obtain a particular linux box to create an unsigned certificate to use with paypal payment setup? Is it possible to create it within the routerOS?

No, you cannot create certificate at MikroTik RouterOS.
You may use configuration examples from the Wiki,

Ok I have got the above figured out an working now. I have used a linux box to create my certificate and then got it put on the mikrotik router that is doing the user manager. The only issue I have is when you try to go to one of the https pages on that router I get "There is a problem with this website's sercurity certificate" I can continue on but I would like to not have the certificate error. Can somebody please tell me what I need to do to fix this?

Thank you

Larry

yes, dont use a self signed certificate. You have to pay an outside company to sign your certificate so that the error goes away.

You need to have correct "Common Name" for the certificate, which should match server DNS name or IP address.

Enter your Certificate Signing Request (CSR) below:CSR Help
Make sure the CSR you generate uses a 2048-bit or greater key length Learn more
How do I get The User Manager needed to generate the CSR? :?
