/ip hotspot walled-garden ip
add action=accept comment="" disabled=no dst-address=76.222.251.217 (public/private ip of router)
add action=accept comment="" disabled=no dst-host="www.paypal.com"
add action=accept comment="" disabled=no dst-host="paypalobjects.com"
add action=accept comment="" disabled=no dst-host="history.paypal.com"
add action=accept comment="" disabled=no dst-host="www.paypalobjects.com"
these seem to work,

Hey Nathan,

This here is Adam from MikroTik class.

How do you set up the Proxy to enable the people without authentication to see the web page?

I am trying to set up HotSpot on our Access Points to show them to our web site if their MAC address is not known. The users are normally Authenticated via MAC, and I would like to have the unknown people be able to log in and see our shop web site.

Anyway, let me know.

Thanks!!

Adam

What i do is modify the login page of the hotpsot, anyone that is known by mac-address if you have mac login enabled wont see the login page , but the unknown will see it. Id just modify the login page and add a button called sign-up to the html, and have that link lead to your website , and then add the website to the walled-garden in the hotspot , and that will allow users not yet authenticated to access the site to sign-up, so i use the walled garden and the login page and not the proxy to do that. There are other ways to do the same thing of course.

Hope that helps

Dear Nate,

Hmm... Sounds good. I might try that...

Although I am unsure how to make our splash page work well with the HotSpot f(x), since there are some images in it, but I can try and see what happens when I start to tinker.

Thanks for the help - hope everything is working well with you.

Adam
