Timestamp IN VOUCHERS, HOW TO?

Wed Nov 12, 2008 4:30 pm

Hi everybody:

I need to put in the vouchers a timestamp. I tried using Java, but it did't work. My client need to have a control of when the voucher was printed, the date and hour. Someone did do it?

How could i do this? Any Ideas?

If I can just get the time to finish it...

I have a VB project that can print "tickets" with barcodes serial numbers and time stamps or anything else needed..

Also it is logged to a database for reporting..
Just need some free time to finish it off.... SOOOO CLOSE !!!!!

I will do my best..

I take the CSV from user manager and produce the tickets from that...
Files are processed as they are produced by usermanager.

Time stamps are acurate within a few seconds..

I am getting CLOSER !!!!

I can now log all ticket creation to an Access database.

All ticket information IE logo, printer destination, who to contact for extension Etc. is controled via the same Access database.

Ticket creation logging now creates a "serial number" that is printed on the ticket. (In barcode and text format)

User name is also barcoded but now that it is all captured by the database, I guess I can remove it..

The logo is auto "fitted" and auto centered at the top of the ticket.. The size is set by the database entry..

Individual or multiple "locations" can have one or more printers all run from one central ticket manager.
(The controler just needs to be able to connect to the printer Via IP or dirrect)

If more features are needed speak now !!!
