I have Rb493 Ah
I want to use ROS 5.14 but I Want to use 4.17 as usermanager...
Is it possible?
If possible How can I do that...
I have tried to downgrade usermanager but because 5.14 is installed It didnt work....
Tried setting up by netinstall but when I click usermanager 4.17 it selects 4.17 system automatic...

Can u please help me?

Hi,
I would like to know that as well.
The 5.x user manager is beta software at best and breaks all the custom code we did for 4.17's user manager.

Hi, I need help too, I was runnin the 4.17 and we needed hardware update so we buy a small HP Server ML110 and installed the 5.14 MKTK RouterOS but i had a lot of problems with the userman and with some other resources like web proxy and monitoring, so we tryed to downgrade to 4.17 but does not recognize the internal hard disk.

Please I need your help it is driving mi crazy, having problems with my users.

Not even MikroTik has an answer for this question - they just ignored all queries about this and does not give any support.

I bought a rb1100ah and want to downgrade from 5.19 to 4.17. Normal downgrade does not work - will some-one please advise me on this?

No - unfortunately it is not possible. It is also not possible to downgrade the RB11002xAH to version 4 or older. Sorry. If you use usermanager you are stuck to 4.17. You may of course use usermanager 5 but it has still so many flaws that the integrity of MikroTik, who just ignores this problem and all queries regarding this, is at stake - but they do not worry about their integrity - they just ignore the problem with usermanager and the querries around it as if it does not exist! If you want to see peopel who cannot acknowledge their shortfalls - you do not have to look further that MikroTik. Do you think this acquisations will motivate them to realise they must give us at least some answers?

... new usermanager is the buggiest i´ve ever seen and you cannot downgrade new routerboards to 4.17. so i putted all my mikrotik ac´s in the rest and took pcengines boards, wich are really much better. downgrade to 4.17 and it runs
