80 GB hdd full

Sat Jun 02, 2012 3:48 am

I have a hotspot machine which has an 80 GB harddrive.

I am using Usermanager. ROS 5.14 x86. 350+ users..

I have done maint to the UserManager and can't figure out what is taking up all the space.
Usernamager database only takes up 584KB
tool user-manager database> pri
          size: 584 kB
        in-use: 100 %
      log-size: 6 kB
    log-in-use: 100 %
  last-rebuild: jun/01/2012 21:58:18
     last-save: jun/01/2012 21:52:48
What can I do?

All my UM reports 100%

I don't now why, but it doesn't seam to mean anything

I just don't care...

Look under maintenance in UM. There it reports free space..

I do not use the dude. I previously did and have removed it.

I also did a netinstall on this x86. It was a while ago. I think I wiped the drive and reinstalled.
After the re-install I added the usermanager package and then used my backup config to restore settings.
Space was eaten up fairly quickly. I have the graphs of that.

Quite curious. I mean 80 GB wow.

BTW I am graphing queues, interfaces, resources on this machine also.

It seems like this x86 is suggish and I wonder if HDD space is the culprit.

Can't figure out why 80 GB is used up:

Why do you suspect user manager is eating up the space? Have you tried NetInstalling again, restoring your backing, and then immediately disabling user manager, just to make sure that it is the cause of the problem? Are you running web-proxy?
