Still problems with time offset on UM -> Bug or noob?

Tue Jul 15, 2014 2:53 am

I was reading here

RB conf:

            date: jul/15/2014
  time-zone-name: Europe/Rome
      gmt-offset: +02:00
      dst-active: yes
On UA:

Router time zone: parent
Costumer time zone: parent

I still have -2 hours offset.

To see correct logs time I have to set +2 at costumer time zone.

Is it a bug?

Thanks in advance, Simone.

Just one question:
Is your router time OK and set?

AND DID YOU ALSO set your customer time?

- should note there is no such bug in this section - as I know.

in my post above i said that time and timezone in rb2011 is set correct. (+0200)
also in user manager customers and routers timezone is set to +0200.
i am not saying its a bug. i dont know where else to look to fix it.

Is the "valid until" display making a mistake and displaying UTC?
This would be consistent with what you're seeing. If it was -2 in stead of +2, I would expect 4hrs of difference between the times....

In the OP, there is mention of a setting about customer time zone. Double check the user and the (I'm not very familiar with Userman) 'company' the user belongs to for such settings?

i have just did the same settings as yours +0200. still the same.
the funny is that is happening to a rb2011 and one 1100AHx2
when i go to http://192.168.88.1/user to check the user i see 2 hours less

for 1d valid ticket i get the following...

Valid until: 03/13/2015 18:45

i first logon on 03/12/2015 20:45

its only in the screen wrong. the user will expire the right time 20:45

Please double check your configs.
in ROUTER section it must be "Parent time Zone"
and in CUSTOMER section it should be your specified time zone (e.g. mine is +3:30)
if you have more that 1 CUSTOMER, then do the same thing for them.

Are YOUR configs like this?

hello hossein
Exactly like you. I've done all the settings.
I'm living Tehran. I have +3.30 time difference.
But it is precisely with your settings
In UM --> sessions : The time is right
In UM--> Report : The time is +3.30 more that should be .

for example if the local time is 13:20
the time in UM->session show 13:20
the time in UM->report show 16:20
please help me!
