Don't use Userman.

Wed Jan 07, 2015 3:03 pm

Just a simple warning to those out there that think Userman is a solution to their Radius requirements. It's not. Don't use it, nor expect it to work at all or for your particular application.

Peace.

This is not absolutely right.

UM works well, as long as the following conditions are true:

1: The current month name contains not the letter "R"
2: It is a sunny day at my Home town In Peloponesse
3: I pay my respects, daily, to my Gods, ancient and new ones
4: Cloves of garlic are placed on top of every ROS machine every second day

I had some problems with it initially (basically locking the disk read-only and needing a reboot), but it's been stable for perhaps a year now. I only use it for routerboard logins though (like tacacs). I do recommend running userman on a separate device that does nothing else.
