We have two serious issues with userman that is hurting our WISP/hotspot business. I have complained to mikrotik many times with no solutions.
1) Users get the following error when they attempt to login. "Simultaneous session limit reached." They get this error even though they are not logged in.
2) Becuase of all the headaches with the above issue we started allowing customers to login using MAC address. We setup the userman with the mac address of the customer's router as the user name and no password. We get many many calls each day from customers saying they have no internet access. We then have to manually delete the user from the host list before they can use the internet. We complained and no fix from Mikrotik for this.
Any ideas to over come the issues above will be helpful.
