Can't login with admin on SXT

Can't login with admin on SXT

Hi I'm tryiing to login on my SXT with Winbox. When I try to login with default admin username and password (admin, and nothing as password, right?) it says wrong username and password. I can login with "default" as username, but when I've logged in with that I haven't permission to do anyting. Please help, I'm a noob.

Make the reset. Then log by default admin.

I would suggest jumping the reset point on the board with a screwdriver (or something else that is metal). It should be a small hole with metal semicircles around it. Hold the screwdriver on it when you connect power.It should make some odd beeps as it boots. After that login with admin no password.

no you are trying to jump the two sides when power is connected at start.

It is possible to pre-configure a device with netinstall which may be your only option.
