Hi all,

I am Isp here , i got multiple Isp links , i am trying to establishing two pppoe setup ie one for airtel and one for Tata link , my question is how can i use this setup in a same network, i want clients to authenticate either of one link at a time,
For ex: If a client trying to authenticate the airtel link , we shouldnt get the request in the Tata mikrotik instead the request should get through Airtel mikrotik,
Is this possible to establish a network with multiple pppoe which are connected in a same network.

my current setup details : 2 x mikrotik routers , 24 port manageable switch , 5 OLTs , 750 onu clients.

Please share your opinions.

If you are using the same credentials to authenticate the PPPOE user, you could set the PPP profile to only allow 1 client to authenticate. This would stop the second connection from being able to authenticate until the first connection is closed.

PPP - Profile - Limits
only one = yes

I was thinking of configuring service name for the links,
ie service name in pppoe setup,

Will this work?

The service name is defined by some ISP's when authenticating the ppp user and isnt something you could use.
